Kalathos Beach

The beautiful Kalathos beach is located only 800m from Kalathos Village. It is a small pebble and sand beach with many sun beds w/umbrellas. There are cantinas on the beach that offer cool refreshing drinks and quick and delicious snacks. The beach also offers various water sports for young and
 young at heart.

Kalathos is a small beautiful village built on a hill slope overlooking the Long Beach of Kalathos and the Aegean Sea. There are plenty of shops, restaurant and cafes in the village. Car, motorbike and bicycle rental offices are also available. The village is located 800 meters from the beach, 3 Km from Lindos town and 42 Km from Rodos Town, all of which can easily be reached by taxi or local buses. 

By day, organized excursions are available to Lindos Town, the Acropolis of Lindos, Rodos old Town and castle, trips around the island, and to the ruins of ancient Kamiros and to many Monasteries and ancient churches. Sailing trips are also available to neighboring islands and to Marmaris in Turkey. 

All excursions can be quickly and easily booked through Rodorama Travel. Shopping trips to Rodos Town can also be easily done by local bus or taxi. You can also be like the locals and sit in any of the many cafeneions (coffee shops) and enjoy the traditional Greek coffee or taste the various mouth watering Greek dishes and delicacies which are served in the local restaurants and cafeterias.

By night, local bars and clubs light up the night with both Greek and contemporary music.
